Changing the Guard is the process involving a new guard exchanging duty with the old guard.
Changing the Guard takes place in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace at around 11am everyday between spring and autumn. And reverts to every other day during autumn and winter. You will see tens of tourists watching for the event. So better be at the palace around 10.30am.
The march beigns from St James's Palace at 11am and the guards arrive at the Buckingham Palace around 11.15am. The Guard provides a full Military Band consisting of no fewer than 35 musicians accompanied by their Director of Music. If you are visiting the ceremony of Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace, don't go without a camera, and be ready for the crowd :)
