A must go museum for fictional detective Sherlock Holmes' fans.

Sherlock Holmes Museum The lodge of fictional detectives Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson between 1881- 1904, according to the stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. There's also a policeman standing outside the door in period costume.

The interior has been maintained exactly as described in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. There are 3 floors, which are all filled with all sorts of Victorian remembrance and various items from Holmes' adventures including the stick that belonged to Dr Mortimer in the Hound of the Baskervilles and much more. On the ground floor  there's a souvenir shop with antique and ephemera sales. The second and third floors contain the exhibition area, featuring several wax figures from Sherlock Holmes adventures.

The entrance fee is 6 pounds for adults, 4 pounds for under 16s and concessions.
