| Green Park |
![]() Green Park is one of the Royal Parks of London, covering an area of about 19 hectares. It lies between Hyde Park and St. James's Park. The best thing about this park is it's big and relaxing after the chotic Picadilly. In sunny days you can have a chilled picnic with friends and they hire out cheap deck chairs too. There is a little shop selling sandwiches, ice cream etc in the park, but you can also shop from Pret a manger just across the Green Park Tube Station.
The events of the park include The Queen's Birthday (with Gun Salute by the King’s Troop Royal Artillery), and guided walks aswell as classical and popular music events. The park is a real escape from the hustle and bustle of Picadilly. Click for the gmap. |
