Borough Market E-mail
charcuterie from BasqueLondon’s oldest food market and has occupied its present site for 250 years. Also one of London's best markets; Borough Market is simply the heaven for charcuterie, fromages, and international tastes... You can find fruits/vegetables, fish, flowers, all kind of meat from different countries...

ImageThe market sells fresh organic vegetables and fruits, meats and fresh fish for cooking at home, but you can also buy a huge range of prepared meats in the form of pies and pâtés as well as cheeses, anti-pasti, cakes, chocolates and much more.  Borough Market will stimulate your all senses; great view where everything is brilliantly displayed, the smell of freshly cooked ones will make you hungry even if you have just eaten something, and you can touch nearly all great things on the stalls. Most stallholders will also let you sample their wares. If you are into cooking fish, popping in one of the fish stalls is worthwhile as they give you some great hints and tips.

Borough Market also attracts some slightly more unusual stalls. Utobeer, for example, have a stall here and sell a fantastic range of real ales and stouts. There is also a Turkish stall there that sells just lovely olives.

Image A trip to Borough Market can be easily combined with any number of other sightseeing opportunities - The River Thames is within striking distance.

Having some breakfast on the go, with a delicious cup of coffee is the best way to start a Saturday(9am - 4pm). The market is also open on Thursdays(11am - 5pm) and in Fridays(12am - 6pm). Taste all delis from Spain, Italy, France, Turkey, West Kenya, Ireland and so on...

The ideal program for a nice saturday would be; a discovery of the market, a fun vine and whiskey tasting session at vinopolis , finalized by a nice meal at cantina.
