One of the best known markets and one of the top destinations of London.
You can find everything from clothes to antiques, from buttons to fruits in Portobello Market... Saturday is the main trading day for the market. Since the market is quite crowded during the whole day, make sure that you arrive at the market at 9-10am.  Whatever You Are Looking For... The market starts with the antiques section and go on with the fruit & veg section. But the place is not the best place to purchase fruits and vegs since the prices are a little bit high comparing to Ridley Road Market or Whitechapel Market... However late on a saturday is the time for real bargains - the traders want to clear their stocks of perishables, so they will pile stuff into boxes and shout out: "Parnd a Box " that means, get the ingredients of this box for only 1 pound! So if your aim is to buy nice vegetables with little money you must came to the market lately... And you will absolutely find clothes since fashion stalls are spread over the market.
