Stoke Newington Farmers' Market

Stoke Newington is becoming more and more attractive for both locals and tourists, especially the Church Street. This time you can visit the area not for only delicious restaurants but also for the area's farmers' market. The market is great to find organic, biodynamic or wild pasta, bread, herbs, cakes, poultry, vegetables and fruits... The Stoke Newington Farmers' Market takes place at William Patten School, on Stoke Newington Church Street, London, N16, on Saturdays.

All the produce at the market is organic, biodynamic or wild and is sold by the producers themselves who all come from within 100 miles of Hackney. There is a wide range of produce on sale as well as hot food and organic Fair Trade coffee. And for us the most amazing of this market is the staff. All stall owners are very friendly and have time to give you information about their products. If it was a film; we could easily write "a feel good market" :) The pictures and opening times below;

Stoke Newington Farmers' Market

It is open every Saturday, (except for Christmas and New Year) from 10am till 2.30pm. It currently provides space for 23 farmers and producers  to sell direct to the public. Click to find out more about the producers and how the market fits into the rest of Growing Communities' work to change the food system from the bottom up!
