London is definitely one of the most attractive cities in the world, however it's also one of the biggest. Therefore if your time is limited, keep an eye on our Not To Do In London Guide.
3 – Leicester Square: Unless you don’t have any tickets for a musical or for a movie at Prince Charles theater, or want to have a look at the antique bookshops; do not bother to make a stroll at Leicester Square. It will be over crowded, chaotic and overpriced for having some pints… 4 – Madame Tussauds: If your profession does not include anything about wax(ing), or you don’t have feelings for Shrek, that means you don't have any other hours to spent in that "museum"… Treat yourself with some delicious meals instead of its overpriced ticket… 5 – London Dungeon: Err well are you a blood fan(not romantic, True Blood type of blood), or dying to see Jack The Ripper or the Bloody Vikings on work, or some ripped feet? Then this must be the first place you should visit (after Ten Bells Pub), if not, keep away, rest in peace and save your money. 6 – London Pubs, situated next to station exits: Generally these pubs are touristy, and overpriced, and you may like to mind your bag, purse, or anything valuable.. 7 – Circle, Hammersmith and City Lines: Try to avoid using these 2 lines. If they’re not your only solution then definitely check before you left your hotel, room, etc… And always have a B plan that includes buses or other lines.
8 – Buckingham Palace: Although it sounds interesting to see the “Changing the Guards”; during a short stay, there are much more interesting things to see in London, like Tate Modern , V&A , Thames pathway… You can always check its descriptive video online … |
