Image Do you hate Mondays? Have you ever heard the inspiring story of Montezuma's Helen & Simon? They really made a difference in their lives, left their successful law careers and made a brave step into their dreams... Read their inspiring story and their lovely London...

* You were lawyers in the City, now you are still close to city but with a completely different job. Do you think London inspired you to have this award winning chocolate shop?

London is definitely an inspiring place and we love to visit regularly.  We can now enjoy the adrenalin rush of the pace of life when we visit knowing that we can return to the quieter, leafy south coast when we need to take a break!

* What do you suggest for Londoners who are not happy with their jobs?
It’s always difficult to tell people to just give up a job they’re not happy with as most people have responsibilities that they have to fulfill.  We were lucky enough to be able to follow our dreams before we had children so we just sold our house and gave up our jobs, simple!  The feeling of freedom was so immense we felt that there was just a world of opportunity waiting for us.  I think if you’re really unhappy in your job, you have to question what is really getting in your way of changing direction, is it that you just couldn’t cope without it or more often the case, apathy and an unwillingness to change.  Go on, make the break, you only get one life!

* What would be your best plan to make a non-Londoner friend experience the best London of all?

We recently took some friends around London on the open top sightseeing buses and this was great fun.  We enjoyed it even though we knew all of the sites but it was fantastic to experience London like a true tourist and it’s a quick way to see all the old Royal landmarks.  Take in a couple of the markets like Spitalfields market or Borough market for the food.  Get to Camden and the Tate Modern if you’ve got time.  The British Museum is amazing as is the Natural History Museum .  Walking along the river is a must and then have supper in a pub overlooking the water.

* What are your hop 5 places for London?
•    The Tower of London
•    British Museum
•    The river – all the way along it!
•    London Eye
•    Spitalfields Market with a visit to Montezuma’s of course!

* More about London, or anything else?
If you have time, get out to the parts of London which are not right in the centre.  Kew Gardens is fantastic as is Hampstead for shopping and the heath.  Richmond Park is also great for picnics and deer spotting!
