Camden High Street Camden Lock Market is one of the best attractions of London, situated by the Regent's Canal.  If you're looking to have a tattoo or some piercings, or some vintage or design clothes, or records, or to eat Moroccan, Turkish, Chinese or Indian food for around 5 pounds, Camden Market will rock for you.

After arriving at Camden you will first see the Camden High Street, heading to Chalk Farm Road.

Camden High StreetThe street is quite busy with shops pubs, some indoor markets... For example if you are looking to buy a poi, or some juggling balls, or a hula hoop,... you must definitely visit Oddballs Juggling Shop, on Camden Lock Market, Chalk Farm Road. Other than fun toys, you can definitely find some gift stores, vintage clothes, tatoo shops, and eateries like Belgo... PS: During weekends the street is a real hustle and bustle. It will be hard for you to walk around the streets. (The market is said to attract approximately 100,000 people each weekend)

Walking down the Camden High Street you will defnitely see the Camden Market with around 200 stalls inside. What you can find in the stalls?

Camden Market

  • Clubwear
  • Footwear
  • Posters of old London
  • Fashion Accessories and jewellery
  • Some alternative Clothing

Now you can cross the street through Inverness Street Market, which has been a traditional street market for over 100 years. It still contains a number of great fruit and vegetable stalls but now also includes many stalls selling clothes, bags and other goods. And lined with some of Camden’s leading restaurants and bars as well. Open all week and weekends...

Lastly, do not forget to visit the Camden Lock Market, since it is the main one. You will be able to explore great antiques, paintings, prints, mirrors, hand made jewellery, designer clothes, and accessories, t-shirts and many more...

Some recommendations;

  • Eat a delicious Moroccan lunch at the Moroccan eatery just across the Horse Tunnel Entrance
  • Grab some coctails at the Cuban bar. Maybe you can find a free Samba lesson day if you go the bar around 5pm.
